01Tiers
86 Club has one free tier and three paid tiers.
- — 86 Access — the free account tier. No payment is taken and it does not renew.
- — 86 Core — a paid membership tier.
- — 86 Black — a paid membership tier.
- — 86 Founders — a paid membership tier limited to 86 active Founder memberships.
02Starting a paid membership
Paid memberships are taken out in the member area and paid through Paystack.
A paid membership is reserved as pending at checkout and only becomes active once payment is confirmed by our payment provider on the server. A browser redirect on its own does not activate a membership.
03Automatic renewal
Paid memberships may renew automatically according to the subscription terms displayed at checkout and shown in your member area, at the price applicable to your membership.
Renewal dates and the next payment date are visible in your member area at all times.
04Cancelling
You can cancel a paid membership through the cancellation process available in your member area, or by contacting us at members@the86clubs.co.za.
Cancellation stops future recurring charges in line with the applicable subscription terms. It does not retroactively reverse a billing period that has already been paid.
A paid billing period is not automatically refundable simply because you cancel. Refund requests are dealt with under the Membership Refund Policy.
05Access after cancellation
Unless stated otherwise at checkout, access continues until the end of the period already paid for, after which the membership lapses and the digital card no longer verifies as active.
06Suspension and expiry
A membership may be suspended, paused or ended where a payment fails and is not resolved, where a membership is cancelled, where a card is being misused, or in the other circumstances described in the Terms & Conditions.
Where a subscription is not renewed, the membership expires and reverts to no active paid tier. You can take a new membership at any time from the tiers then available.
07Founders
86 Founders carries additional rules on seat limits, locked pricing and loss of Founder status on cancellation. Those rules are set out in the 86 Founders Terms.
