The Origin
It started as a group chat between people who finished service at midnight and had nowhere to go. One unlisted dinner became a standing table. The table became a club.
In the kitchen, 86 means it is gone. Off the board. Finished. We took the word for something ending and used it to start something: 86 the excess, 86 the ego, 86 the noise.
Today 86 Club runs member services, drops uniform-grade garments, and negotiates benefits with partners across Cape Town — starting with our official brand partner, The Dinner Club.

Every member works the floor, the pass, the bar or the back office. No spectators, no brand tourists.
Built On Service
The club runs like a kitchen. Everyone has a station, everyone gets fed, nobody gets left in the weeds.
Cape Town Rooted
Founded in 2026 between Woodstock and Bree Street. The city sets the pace, the club keeps the time.
Made To Be Worn
The garments are uniform first. Function survives the line, and only then reaches the street.
